About Me
Hi, I’m Dana!
I’m Little Preemie Mama. Why? I’m little (5’0” tall), and I have had little preemie boys (3 lb 11 and 2 lb 2 oz), and my 5 year old calls me Mama. Hence - little preemie mama.
A few things about me. I’m a business woman by day, busy mama at night. I live in Wisconsin and have most of my life. I love all things Notre Dame (class of ‘08, GO IRISH!), have an obsession with salsa, chips and guacamole, and live for good laughs with my family and friends. Napa cabs are a favorite; love all forms of coffee; am very silly and creative; and have been known to write some pretty amazing raps for my loved ones on special occasions. Friends, colleagues, and family describe me as being a very positive and energetic person. I have to say, I agree!
My driving force in writing this blog is helping other mamas navigate the NICU, having a preemie, and preterm labor and birth. I want to use my positive energy and passion around these topics to help make this time in a woman’s life a little less scary.
